DESIGN REVIEW SERVICES
Respected as a leader in the industry, The Galloway Group has provided Design Review Services, assisting residential associations by providing objective, third-party review of individual homeowner improvements for over 50 planned communities and neighborhoods throughout Southern California. Current projects include Shady Canyon and Great Park (Irvine), Ladera Ranch (Mission Viejo), Crystal Cove (Newport Beach), IronRidge (Lake Forest) and Miralon (Palm Springs), to name a few.
We serve as the Association’s Design Review Committee’s representative or work with volunteer committees to ensure a consistent and timely review of homeowner applications and plans. Our involvement represents a long-term commitment to work with Board members to protect and enhance the original community character and architectural/landscape harmony. For example, we have provided ongoing services for the Westpark Maintenance District (Irvine) since 1998.

DESIGN GUIDELINES
One advantage of a long-term consulting relationship with The Irvine Company and Rancho Mission Viejo Company is our firm’s experience in the development and theming of significant master plans in one of the most competitive markets in the U.S. Master developers and local agencies direct builders to implement the architectural and landscape theme, as they sell homes within the community using specific Community Design Guidelines. The Galloway Group’s experience preparing and processing these documents include the Falloncrest Town Square Design Guidelines (Chino, California) and Design Guidelines for numerous Specific Plans in the City of Ontario, California.
To ensure the sustainability and enhancement of a planned community's vision after homeowners purchase their properties, a well-crafted Design Guideline document is essential. This includes user-friendly applications and notification forms for future homeowner improvements. Our extensive background in providing Design Review Services gives us a unique perspective and competitive edge in developing standards and guidelines that help Association Boards and Property Management Companies preserve the aesthetic quality of their neighborhoods. We have authored or updated over 30 Community Design documents, including those for Miralon Community Corporation (Palm Springs), Irvine Crest Community Association (Laguna Beach), Crystal Cove II (Newport Beach), Quail Hill Community Association, and Westpark Maintenance District (both in Irvine).

COMMUNITY THEMING
The Galloway Group draws upon our experience creating unique places and thematic and aesthetic visions for numerous planned communities throughout the Southwestern U.S. when providing Design Services for associations that want to remodel or renovate common property. Such services include repurposing community buildings, revegetating slopes and common areas and updating entries and monuments.

DRONE SERVICES /
PHOTOGRAPHIC ARRAYS
The Galloway Group utilizes trained staff and company-owned, insured drones to offer a range of services for property management companies, associations, and other clients. These services include on-site photography, height measurements for trees and view obstructions, assessments of existing and future structures, visual analysis studies, and the creation of informative or marketing videos.
Many associations recognize the value of documenting the existing conditions within their community or neighborhood. The Galloway Group provides updated photo arrays of each lot for several association clients to track the status of individual home improvements. By refreshing these photo arrays every four years, associations can monitor when improvements are made without approval or in violation of community rules, helping to prevent costly disputes with homeowners. Additionally, state law allows for improvements that have been installed for five years to be considered grandfathered.
