Terry Galloway, AICP LEED AP

Terry Galloway is the founder and President of The Galloway Group, an Orange County, California based real estate development and design consulting firm specializing in strategic land planning, site planning, entitlement services and design consulting services. With more than twenty-five years of experience in planning, project direction, and community and urban design, Mr. Galloway’s vision has steered his firm to critical success by providing creative planning and design solutions, establishing The Galloway Group as a leader in developing market-responsive development programs, planning concepts and product configurations.


With extensive experience throughout the United States and Mexico, the firm has assisted developers and builders in the conceptualization, design and/or implementation of over 40 master-planned communities and an estimated 210,000 residential homes and 7,500 multi-family dwellings. The Galloway Group’s clients consist of leading developers, national, regional and local homebuilders, and community/homeowner associations.

Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Galloway held the position of director of planning for two international architecture and planning firms and a large Orange County planning and engineering firm where he maintained overall departmental management and design responsibilities. His credentials include national planning certification (AICP) and he is a LEED Accredited Professional recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Planners, The Urban Land Institute, American Planning Association, Building Industry of America, Home Builders Council of Southern California (Board of Director from 1994-1995), and the Senior Housing Council. His work has been recognized with numerous awards including the prestigious PCBC Gold Nugget Awards and the National Senior Housing Council Awards.


Mr. Galloway holds a Bachelor of Design from the School of Art and Architecture at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master of Landscape Architecture from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona. He resides in Laguna Niguel, California, with his wife and two children and enjoys team sports, camping, and fishing.
