Travesia - Goodyear, AZ

The Galloway Group was asked to design a series of 10 different floor plans and 30 architectural elevations to fit a variety of lot sizes for Golden Heritage Homes. Intended to be constructed initially as a model neighborhood along the fairways of the Palm Valley Golf Course in Goodyear, Arizona, these homes were to represent the majority of the company's projected home sales in the area. One key to the curb appeal of these homes was in the variety of garage configurations which created an animated street-scene with a captivating pedestrian scale. The plans also featured elements such as: detached casitas, landscaped courtyards, entry porticos, and porches and driveway porte cocheres. Rich architectural detailing on the exterior elevations expressed a custom home quality, reinforcing the distinctive historical styles such as: Monterey, Santa Barbara, Italianate, French Country/Provincial, Tuscany and Spanish Colonial vernaculars.
