The Galloway Group provided strategic planning for Sharpe and Associates on this 3,000+ acre property located south of Tucson in the relatively new City of Sahuarita, designing the City’s first active adult resort area. The community won a silver award from the National Senior Housing Council and was the catalyst for the initial development of the highly amenitized Community of Rancho Sahuarita. Entitled for nearly 12,000 residential homes and approximately 200 acres of commercial uses, the plan had a long-term build-out strategy that envisioned a balanced and sustainable community. Providing residential site planning, amenity programming including the design of a 10 acre lake park, conceptual master plan studies, town center master plans and village level community planning, The Galloway Group was closely involved in Rancho Sahuarita, contributing to its overall success in the greater Tucson market place.
