The Landmark Courtyard Home concept was inspired by early bungalow homes found in urbanized areas of coastal Southern California and developed as an affordable detached alternative to attached living in the Phoenix valley.  The Galloway Group designed an enclave of six homes that are oriented onto a pedestrian courtyard.  Garage doors are hidden from the neighborhood streets and oriented onto a short motorcourt drive.   Four floor plans ranging from 1,160 to over 1,760 sq. ft. were plotted at densities over 11 units per acre, while creating a pedestrian friendly neighborhood streetscene.
