Amador - Meas, AZ

In the rapidly developing area of the east Phoenix Valley, builders were looking for ideas to capture their share of the entry level housing market that was spurring the fast-paced growth. Great Western Homes had an interesting challenge; having proven its success in this market segment, the builder wanted to expedite the entitlement process through the City of Mesa and increase its rate of return on this 22 acre site. The Galloway Group proposed the idea of using two segmented products to create a more interesting street-scene, while doubling the sales opportunities at Amador.  Two single family home types, “z-lot” homes and “patio” homes, ranged in size from 1,150 to 1,750 sq. ft. and the site plan yielded a net density of 7.5 du/ac.
